Thank you for your interest in Sunday Teams at Jubilé / Jubilee Montréal. As a church we exist to share the good news as a spiritual family for holistic transformation and our Sunday gatherings are an important part of this. By partnering with us on the Connection Team you will be an integral part of our family’s mission.
As with any ministry, there are responsibilities that go along with serving. Your first step in being involved in our Sunday Teams will be to fill out this application in full. When you have submitted this application the Connection Team coordinator will contact you within the next 7-10 days.

At Jubilee Montreal, Spiritual Family is one of our core values. The responsibility of the Connection Team is to make newcomers feel warm, welcome, and special. It is CENTRAL to sharing the love of Christ! Church growth studies have proven with statistical data that the first two minutes a newcomer is at the church is an important deciding factor as to whether they will ever return.
2. Objective:
The Connection Team is responsible for cultivating a hospitable and welcoming environment for individuals and families arriving at the gathering each Sunday.
3. Policy:
a. Set up a username and password with Planning Centre (the coordinator will communicate with you about this).
b. Arrive no later than 45 minutes before church gathering starts.
c. Inform the Coordinator of any scheduling conflicts as soon as possible.
d. Participate in the Connection Team training and orientation session.
4. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Examples of the different “duties” that are needed each week for your team
a. FRONT DOOR GREETING: Give people a friendly greeting at the entrance. Assist people with strollers, wheelchairs, walkers, etc.
b. HOSTS: Make a personal connection so people feel welcome. Direct them to beverages, introduce them to someone else—we want them to feel at home!
c. CONNECTIONS CENTRE: Answer questions about Jubilee—who we are and how to get involved.
d. MC: Welcome people before the worship service with a brief self-introduction and relay important announcements from the church. Explain the connection card at the end of the gathering.
e. TITHES/OFFERINGS COLLECTION: Collect offering during worship service. Process offering and fill out the Tithes and Offering Form. Seal the form and money in an envelope marked with the date and submit the envelope to the treasurer. *
