As a church we exist to share the good news as a spiritual family for holistic transformation and our Sunday gatherings are an important part of this. By partnering with us on the Jubilé • Jubilee Junior Team, you will be an integral part of our family’s mission.
As with any ministry, there are responsibilities that go along with serving. Your first step in being involved in our Sunday Teams will be to fill out this application in full. When you have submitted this application the Jubilé • Jubilee Junior Team coordinator will contact you within the next 7-10 days.

We are passionate about helping the upcoming generation grow into great leaders for tomorrow’s church. To this end we have created Jubilee Junior for kids ages 3yrs - 10yrs. Safety is the highest priority in our kids ministry. We use a protection program called “Winning Kids” to protect against abuse of all kids. We offer this program in partnership with the Mennonite Brethren of Quebec.
2. Objective:
Jubilee Junior is designed to first introduce kids to the Good News of Jesus. Second, it’s a place to show kids how the church community (Spiritual Family) is a necessary part to their Christian life—where they can enjoy life and face its challenges with others. By providing a peaceful, energetic and joyful environment, each kid will be able to grow in their relationship with Jesus and, through the example of the teachers and assistants, their desire to follow him in all of life.
3. Policy:
The coordinator will communicate with you about the below requirements
a. Set up a username and password with Planning Centre.
b. Arrive no later than 30 minutes before church gathering starts.
c. Inform the Jubilee Junior Coordinator of any scheduling conflicts as soon as possible.
d. Complete a file for a police record check.
e. Complete a file of employee/volunteer of the church
f. Attend to the Winnings kids training with the Mennonite Brethren of Quebec
4. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Depending of the role
a. Teacher young children: Welcome the kids at their arrival. Lead the lesson. Share responsibilities with the assistant. Play with the kids. Change diapers.
b. Assistant young children: Responsible for kids registration Assist the teacher. Play with the kids. Change diapers.
c. Teacher children: Welcome the kids at their arrival. Lead the lesson. Share responsibilities with the assistant. Play with the kids. Change diapers.
d. Assistant children: Responsible for kids registration Assist the teacher. Play with the kids. Change diapers.
e. Observer: Everyone who serves with Jubilee Junior will have to go visit the Jubilee Junior area(s) at a random time to ensure a safe environment for the kids. This is during a week in which you are not serving as a teacher or assistant. This role is necessary and obligatory in the “Winnings Kids” program. *
